Residency Format
The residency format has been kept intentionally simple and artist-friendly so that each resident can settle into a clear and uninterrupted working rhythm. Rather than functioning as a crowded programme with multiple participants at the same time, the residency follows a limited structure that allows greater concentration, privacy and individual attention. This format helps create a calm environment in which artists can think more deeply, work more consistently and experience Jodhpur in a more meaningful and less distracted way.

Application Requirements

Portfolio Submission
The portfolio is an important part of the application because it helps present the visual language, direction and quality of the applicant’s artistic practice. It should allow the residency to understand the medium, themes and nature of the work in a concise but meaningful way. Artists are encouraged to submit a portfolio that is carefully selected, visually clear and professionally organised, so that the work can be reviewed with proper context.

Residency Fee
The residency fee has been structured to support the artist’s stay and studio-based residency experience in Jodhpur. The fee should be understood in relation to the live-and-work format, the limited one-artist-per-month structure and the personalised nature of the residency. It is advisable for applicants to review the fee details carefully before applying so that they clearly understand the payment structure and the items that are included or excluded from the programme.
Residency Fee: USD 500 per month

30% advance payment is required
Remaining amount must be paid before arrival
Fee applies to the one-month residency period.
Food and travel expenses are not included in the residency fee.
What is Residency Included
